The first year, three years ago, my husband decorated our home with a modest amount of lights. We then found out not too long after that a couple of neighbors were attempting to out-do us in their decorations. The second year the three men added more lights trying to beat the other two. This has become a year round bantering between the three. We have also noticed that many other homes have begun to add more lights than before. This year ‘08’ we decided to make this an official battle of the lights on Montrose Hill. We want to raise Christmas spirits in all who see the lights but most of all we would like to help local unfortunate
famlies.
